Daddy's Day Off

In celebration of the beginning of my summer vacation, Isaac took a few days off! We ventured to the Federal Reserve Bank to visit Grandpa and have lunch at the original El Fenix, Grandpa's suggestion. We took a short tour and watched high tech machines sort our currency into shreddables and those still good for circulation. Very interesting. Landen enjoyed refried beans for the first time. Then, off we went to the Dallas World Aquarium. The favorite, by unanimous voting...Landen included, were the flamingos. They were quite entertaining. Landen stared in awe as they squawked and strutted around protecting their territory from their brother flamingos. On the way home, Isaac and I enjoyed the goodness that is Cold Stone Creamery while Landen snuggled himself to sleep!
